Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy, after a discussion with the party coordinators, said that it is imperative for the party to win in at least 8 of the 20 constituencies to retain the party's rule.
Advising the party members, he said that the party should focus on winning in all the 20 constituencies. He further said that only if the party wins in at least 8 constituencies the party can retain the rule.
He also said that all the cadres and office bearers should be ready to face the election irrespective of the time it happens.
"We should win the election in all the 20 constituencies irrespective of when the election takes place. We should turn the tables from the RK Nagar situation. In order to prove the party's majority we should win this by-election in all constituencies," Party coordinator and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam said.
"You can ask for any assistance from the head office. Victory should be our sole focus," he added.
