He was accompanied by his son-cum-party working president MK Stalin, Karunanidhi was also seen ‘speaking’ to a handful of party functionaries at Arivalayam.
Recently, Vairamuthu had released a video in which the lyricist was seen ‘interacting’ with the nonagenarian after reciting a poem asking Karunanidhi to speak. Meanwhile, DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan on Sunday announced that review meeting would resume from April 2 and continue till April 11.
The four Chennai district units and Kancheepuram would be taken up during the last three days. Significantly, faction ridden districts like Tiruchy, Cuddalore and Tiruvallur would be reviewed by Stalin in the days to come.
The review meeting was indefinitely deferred last week owing to the budget session of the Assembly, which began on March 15.
