“I was shocked on receiving the email from MNM thanking me for joining the party. It also had a mention that ‘you and I have now become we’ (neengalam naanum naam aanom.’ A membership ID was also issued to me,” she said adding, “How do you trust such a party?”
Terming it as a joke, Tamilisai said that this is enough to expose the fake membership process for Kamal’s party. Addressing media in Tirupur on Tuesday, the BJP leader also showed the email sent purportedly by the Kamal’s party to her with a mention of her membership ID.
Tamilisai also came in support of Rajini and said, “The actor says Rajini didn’t express his views on many issues concerning the state, however Kamal too remained silent before.”
Stating that BJP will definitely criticize Rajini once he participates in active politics and if he behaves in a manner deserving criticism, the BJP leader said “We do not see any partiality as Kamal or Rajini,” she said.
On new parties, the BJP leader said that they cannot bring about a change in the state.
“There is a vacuum in Tamil Nadu politics, but the situation has not turned out for TTV Dinakaran and actors Kamal and Rajini to fill it up,” the state BJP president said.
