Bengaluru FC (BFC) suffered its fourth consecutive defeat in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 as it went down 0-1 to SC East Bengal (SCEB) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.

Panaji: German midfielder Matti Stienmann scored the winner in the 20th minute after left-back Narayan Das picked him out inside the box. Post the win, East Bengal, which is unbeaten in five matches, has 10 points from as many games. A struggling Bengaluru has 12 points from the same number of matches as its opponent. SCEB head coach Robbie Fowler had to watch the action from the stands after getting suspended for the contest.
