Puneri Paltan won its sixth match in Pro Kabaddi League Season 6 as it came up trumps against Dabang Delhi KC with a scoreline of 31-27.
While Nitin Tomar sat out due to injury, Girish Ernak made a return to the starting seven. Both teams had their ups and downs in the first half. The first five minutes of the match saw both teams attempting to get points through ‘Do-Or-Die raids’, with Pune turning out to be more successful.
Delhi made a comeback with Chandran Ranjit’s ‘Super Raid’. As a result of it, Puneri conceded an all-out in the ninth minute to give Delhi a 10-8 lead. Puneri then inflicted its first all-out on Delhi in the 17th minute. The half ended with Puneri Paltan leading by seven points at 22-15.
The second half saw both teams continue to use the same tactic of working on the ‘Do-Or-Die’ raids for points. Despite making so many efforts, Delhi failed to close the gap down. Rinku and Sandeep created tantrums which Delhi raiders couldn’t handle. Despite his best efforts, Joginder couldn’t inspire his team to victory as Dabang Delhi lost the match to Puneri Paltan 27-31.
