AIADMK legislature party leader A Anbazhagan on Thursday demanded that Chief Minister V Narayanasamy should prove his majority by convening a special session of the territorial Assembly.
He charged that groupism in the ruling Congress-DMK alliance is at its peak. MLA Dhanavelou’s matter is an intra-party affair of the Congress, he said adding that however, since, the ruling party legislator leveled charges against the government, Narayanasamy government lost its majority. The Chief Minister should have resigned owning moral responsibility, he added.
Anbazhagan said he was not invited for a function at the Botanical Garden in his Oupplam constituency on Wednesday in which Lt Governor Kiran Bedi participated and added that a privilege issue will be raised against the officials.
