The men were later removed from the surrounding areas. Meanwhile Tamil farmers including a woman have been protesting in Delhi's Jantar Mantar for over a month.
Several leaders have also extended their support to the farmers. Leaders from Tamil Nadu cutting across the political spectrum have offered their support to the state's farmers who have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for the past 30 days demanding a drought relief package of Rs 40,000 crore from the Centre and farm loan waiver.
The protests is likely to intensify in the coming week if the centre delays its decision in the matter.
They have vowed to continue the protest, until the Centre waived their loans from nationalised banks, revises drought relief packages, provides solutions to water scarcity, and helps fix produce prices.
