A 36-year-old man, employed at a mobile phone store, was allegedly stabbed by a gang of four men, who then made away with his bag containing Rs 60 lakh, on Thursday night.
Hearing his cries, passers-by came to his assistance and took him to a private hospital. The robbers, however, had fled from the scene by then. Rafi was admitted to a private hospital.
The police collected the CCTV footages from the nearby buildings and are on the hunt for the robbers. Based on the complaint by the shop owner Jaffar, the Seven Wells police registered a case. Police believe that a group that knew the routine of the victim could have planned and executed the robbery.
