Definitely Punjabi. Butter naan and butter chicken masala would be my favouite dishes in this cuisine.
First dish I made:
This remains my most memorable cooking experience so far, especially since it was the first time. I first started by cutting vegetables and washing the chicken for a dish I was supposed to serve for breakfast. However, I finally ended up cooking only in time for lunch! The result was pretty decent but people never let me cook after that.
This was another time when I really wanted to make lasagna. I had everything ready and I was really pumped but at some point, the realisation struck that I had forgotten to buy lasagna sheets! Yet again, I ended up making it for the next meal.
Home food, especially podi dosa and curd rice. They’re simple to make and I can eat it any time of the day.
Hands down Sangam Hotel on Mount Road. They serve amazing nalli mutton biriyani even at 2 am. The wheat parotta with Chettinadu chicken curry is out of the world as well. So I would say this is a must-try restaurant.
