It was in August that I started by blog on food. After finding out that many hotels are adding too much masalas and monosodium glutamate, which causes many health issues, I decided to focus only on home-made foods. Sometimes, I make it at home and post in it my Instagram page, Foodie Central. Even though I go out for lunch or dinner with family, I prefer home-made food.
I started the page to inform people where they can have home-made food without too much masala added to it. I also get requests from various restaurants to review their food. But I don’t have too many followers for my page. Only if there is more number of followers can I promote my Insta page. The profit I get through this is also less. But once the number of followers reach 10,000, the revenue would also increase.
Nowadays, we find many food blogs on Instagram, where most of the bloggers go to a random shop to have food and upload their review about it. But that is not how I do it. I select only specific hotels which serve home-made food. And I upload my review only after three to four days because I should also ensure that there are no health issues after eating the food. When I upload posts of food that I cook, I receive a lot of comments asking for their recipes. So, for those following me, I have started a YouTube channel uploading some videos on request. In future, I would like to open a restaurant.
