The campaign is already ongoing in Villuppuram and Gummidipoondi. Speaking to the media at his residence, Seshan said, “Through this NGO, we are planning to provide 360-degree treatment for cancer. The first phase is awareness and screening. For those who are diagnosed, there will be a second reference done. People who need to undergo treatment, will be helped with financial aid and also accommodation. The awareness and screening initiatives are currently being conducted in Villuppuram and Gummidipoondi. Soon, we will expand this to Sriperumbudur, Pattukkottai and Namakkal,” he said.
Sankalp Beautiful World, an alliance of 21 persons, has tied up with Cancer Institute Adyar and other private institutions. Goutham Chander, Co-Founder of the NGO, said, “On August 19, we will be launching our new logo at Music Academy, where we are expecting 1,500 people to attend the event which will also focus on awareness.”
