The film which requires over 1,000 people for the climax portion, is likely to resume after things come back to normal after lockdown ends. Meanwhile, Simbu has decided to do another film, a quick one before resuming Maanaadu. A source told DT Next, “He has been confirmed to play the lead in Susienthiran’s directorial after Champion. The shoot is likely to go on floors in October. An official announcement will be made soon.” The cast for the project is being finalised and the film is in its pre-production stages.
Manoj Bharathiraja, who was last seen in Champion is likely to play a crucial role in the film. Apart from this, the director also has a film with Jai and Smruthi Venkat in lead roles. He had completed the shoot of the film only in August. Post Simbu’s film, Susienthiran will begin his project with Vikram Prabhu in the lead role.
