Director Seenu Ramasamy is coming up with a film titled Maamanithan, which has its music composed by father-son duo Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja for the first time.
The latest we hear is that Seenu Ramasamy is not happy with the way Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is also the producer of the film, dealing with the film’s business. Apparently, Yuvan Shankar Raja has sold the film’s overseas rights to a popular production house for a huge sum without informing him. “According to their agreement, Seenu Ramasamy has equal rights in the film’s overseas business. However, Yuvan sold it to a company without informing him, creating a misunderstanding between the two. That’s one of the reason’s for delay in the release,” a source said. Maamanithan has Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.
