Akshay Kumar, who is known to be one of the fittest actors in tinsel town, recently shared a picture that took our fitness goals to another level. In the picture, Akshay can be seeing doing a headstand, effortlessly, at a public space in Mumbai.
The 50-year-old actor doled out some advice for fitness freaks out there. “There is absolutely no excuse for ignoring one’s health, we’ve got one body, one heart and one chance.
Let’s live it like we’re scared of losing it. Fitness is not about showing off six pack abs built from a bottle full of enhancers.
Fitness is about becoming the best version of you, no matter what level you may be at, level 1 is better than 0,” said Akshay. “So, I urge everyone to respect the body God has gifted you with, and become the healthy person you have always wanted to be. I’m not asking anyone to spend lakhs on gym memberships.
All I’m saying is make the most of what’s around you. Let’s be honest, walking is free,” he added. As for Akshay’s workout regimen, he loves making it adventurous and fun by playing basketball, kick-boxing, yoga, swimming and martial arts.
He believes in not sticking to just one routine and try variations amid nature. He does not work out for more than 45 minutes to one hour five to six times a week.
On the film front, the actor is gearing up for the release of his first Tamil film 2.0 which will have him locking horns with Superstar Rajinikanth.
