This quarantine keeps you away from the virus so that you don’t lose your existing strength and life. In technology, you must have heard of antivirus which protects the device from viruses entering into it. If you don’t have an antivirus, it’s like allowing the virus to enter the system and affect it. The application crashes and you lose the system. It’s the same with our body too. Our government is doing all possible things to protect our lives. It becomes our individual responsibility to support them and keep ourselves safe during the spread of this virus. In a way, it’s our contribution to the government by following their rules and prevent the transmission of the corona.
Corona will come to an end. We may not know when, but with all the efforts put forth by humanity, the virus is sure to die soon. But your life is going to begin and it’s time for you to realise that this time of quarantine can also be used to keep yourself away from negativity. At this time of uncertainty, fear, doubt, anger and anxiety will naturally disturb your mind. Still, we have control over what to think and what to speak. There are three aspects to make sure we don’t lose the existing energy because this isolation period is to keep you away from corona, not from other diseases. There are other diseases like cancer, cholesterol, etc. I would like to share a few points which may not give you high immunity but will surely help you maintain your existing immunity.
For every thought, there is an impact on your body. Realising this we can make sure to keep ourselves away from the negativity. How to do this? Make sure meditation plays a major role at this point. We are going through a phase where we are unable to do our routine activities and not knowing when this period will come to an end, your mind will obviously have all possible negative thoughts. So every day make sure you give yourself a fixed time for meditation to remove the negativity that has accumulated in your mind. Even if you don’t know how to meditate, just try to sit in silence for some time or practice some meditation methods that are easily available online nowadays. This time that you dedicate yourself should be at least 20 to 30 minutes. This meditation is going to be your power zone which will help you remove the negativity and increase the positivity. Along with this, your self-conscious contribution is required in two areas - what you practice and what you consume. Consumption has two categories namely physical consumption and mental consumption. Make sure you consume all possible food that will boost your immunity which is the fundamental need in the present situation. Follow simple guidelines while consuming food; i.e., high in nutrition and less in calories, high in quality and less in quantity. You are aware of your existing condition. Even if you are healthy, the fact remains that nothing can be attained, it can only be maintained. So, make sure you eat all possible rich foods and avoid all types of food which is unhealthy. You alone can be your master if you want to avoid disaster in the present and future.
When it comes to mental consumption, don’t ever forget that you always have the choice to choose what you want to see. This is where I always say don’t take effort to be a S-T-U-P-I-D. Stop tuning useless programs in devices. Make sure to avoid everything that is not going to be useful or progressive for you because at this point whatever you are watching may affect your health in the present and future. Every single thought in your mind has an impact on your physical body. Research says that in the present world, fear, panic, anxiety and negativity sells a lot with human society. Take conscious effort to listen and watch positive things and avoid audio and video which will make you feel negative. This is the time to contribute to your own self thereby contributing to the family and society. Don’t consider this as a time where you will not be able to do anything. No matter what the situation is, two things have to be followed without fail.
- Good sleep to gain immunity to fight against any diseases. Meditation plays a major role in this. Tell yourself you are more powerful than you think. Don’t compromise your sleep for anything.
- No matter how much ever healthy food you intake, only good exercise will facilitate the body to absorb the essential nutrients from the food. An exercise for at least 20 min a day to keep your heart and lungs healthy is a must during this time. At this time, it’s also good to pick up at least 2or 3 positive quotes from your holy book or any other books you like and don’t just read it, analyse it, ponder upon them and make sure that it’s registered in your mind. This helps to give you the power to kick off the fear before it attacks you or even if it is trying to attack you. This keeps you in the best mental health.
With all these points, this isolation is not only a gift to society it is also the best time for you to recreate your life and future. Tell yourself that the present situation is not an ending or stop button it’s just a pause. You are going to play it more beautifully and more powerfully if you stick to this simple practice with sincere self-consciousness and commitment. Stay home stay safe.
