A dog owner from Oklahoma called her dog a ‘gold digger’ for acting like a stray dog to get free hamburgers from McDonalds. Betsy Reyes said her dog, Princess sneaks out during night and sits outside McDonald’s, pretending to be a stray dog. She also shared a video of the dog that
went viral and captioned it asking people not to feed her, if spotted. According to a news report, on Monday night, Betsy droveto McDonald’s and spotted Princess there, waiting to be fed. Moreover, she saw a woman reaching out of her car to throw some food at the dog. However, when the pooch saw the owner, it came running to her wagging her tail. The irate owner posted the video urging people not to feed her errant dog.
Couple’s Congo Civil War themed wedding photoshoot labelled as ‘insensitive’
Travel photographer and Instagrammer John Milton wanted to do something ‘special’ for his wedding. In 2017, Milton and his wife planned to exchange the vows in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They went a step ahead and made sure that they “did not have the typical goofy wedding shots.” They took photos “atop of an active Congolese volcano with a local tribe while a civil war is brewing.” However, the photos went viral and the netizens are hating it, calling the pics ‘racist’ and ‘insensitive’ and have accused the couple of engaging in ‘misery tourism’. In one of the photos, a ring is seen sitting upon an assault rifle with the caption, ‘Blood Diamonds’. In another, Milton and his bride is seen kneel at the mouth of an active volcano, with soldiers pointing rifles at the couple. After the photos went viral on October 23, Milton had deleted his Instagram.
Awww moment as Sydney’s same-sex penguin couple welcome their first baby
A pair of male penguins at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, in Australia, who fell in love and co-hosted an egg, welcomed their baby. Dads Sphen and Magic, were given an egg to incubate, hatched little baby, on October 19. The chick was born weighing in at 91g. According to Tish Hannan, Penguin Department Supervisor at the aquarium, said, “Baby has already stolen our hearts! We love watching the proud parents doting and taking turns caring for their baby chick.” The penguin’s gender will be determined 2 months, the aquarium statement added. However, the photo has taken all over the internet and netizens welcomed the baby penguin with love and affection, a few stated that, ‘faith in love has been restored’.
