The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is probing an alleged Bollywood-drugs nexus, has summoned actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning, an official said on Wednesday.
This drug probe is linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death case after screenshots of a purported WhatsApp chat between her and her manager, Karishma, surfaced online.
Apparently, Deepika Padukone’s old images and videos from throwback party which was supposedly held in 2017, in Mumbai are going viral. The video which was hosted by Karan Johar had many A-listers of Bollywood industry.
Also, a Whatsapp chat dating October 28, 2017, also surfaced the internet, in which Deepika Padukone messaged to Karishma asking “You have maal?”, to which Karishma said that ‘she has it at her home, but she can ask someone to arrange it for Deepika’. Responding to which, Deepika said that she wants ‘hash and not weed’. In the same chat, Karishma asked Deepika when will she be going to Koko, to which the Padmaavat actress said, “at around 11:30/12ish”.
The NCB had already summoned Karishma Prakash and KWAN talent management agency's CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently in Goa for the shoot of Shakun Batra's movie. The actress is also said to be in the upcoming Atlee- Shahrukh's 'Sanki' and also Prabhas starrer, yet-to-be-titled telugu flick.
