A Madurai-based couple Abul Kalam and Ahila of Mundrumaavadi's son tied the knot with one Shabna on July 9. The wedding ceremony was restricted with only 20 invitees due to the Government restrictions for the current pandemic situation.
Fearing the corona and the curfew the newlyweds weren't allowed to visit their relatives' houses for post-wedding ceremonies. So, the bride's mother-in-law Ahila decided to treat the bride with a lavish spread of 101 dishes.
Ahila cooked as many as 101 dishes including biryani, fried rice, parotta, eggs, quail, soups, fruit juices etc., Apparently, she ensured the plater had a personal touch, by arranging the party all by herself.
This heartwarming gesture of the mother in law has gone viral and took everyone by surprise.
While another video of a mother-in-law treating her son-in-law 67 kinds of food in Andhra Pradesh a few days ago has gone viral, this grand party given to the daughter-in-law by a mother-in-law from Madurai has surely won accolades.
