Gorilla or crow? A researcher comes to rescue of baffled Twitterati
A bizarre screen grab of a crow appearing as a gorilla has left people clearly baffled on social media.
The viral video which was filmed in Japan, showed a bird balancing on its wings while the posture appears to be that of an ape standing on its forearms. Some people called the animal in the picture as “gorilla crow” while one Twitter user said that he thought that it was a “zombie”.
However, putting an end to all the speculations, a researcher said, “What it’s actually doing is sunning itself. When birds sun they drop their wings and cock their tails. At the right angle that could obscure the legs and tail making it look like they’re missing.” Her tweet finally brought clarity to many and made them agree that it is a crow!
