Palaniswami launched www.ppacmda.tn.gov.in of the CMDA for submission of plan approval documents. He also inaugurated the facility of online application in www.tnrera. in operated by the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Housing units and office buildings constructed by Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban development department which were constructed at a cost of Rs 603 crore in Sivaganga, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Thoothukudi were inaugurated through video conferencing.
A model explosives museum set up at a cost of Rs 27.51 lakh in Marutham Complex in the City was also opened. The CM also unveiled several other infrastructure projects, including Housing Projects for cops, prison wardens, office buildings for various state police agencies, built at a cost of over Rs 81 crore apart from factories of a private footwear firm and its ancillary industries set up at a cost of Rs 360 crore.
